IFE-USA Statement of Support for Ukraine Fire and Emergency Services

On December 9, 2019, the branch Executive Committee met to adopt new policies governing committees and liaisons with external organizations. The Executive Committee also reappointed chairs of each of the standing committees and two ad hoc committees to serve through the 2020 Annual General Meeting.

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, in conjunction with the Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI), released the Truman Fire Forum Report, outlining five strategies for addressing America’s fire problem.

The public inquiry chaired by Sir Martin Moore-Bick, QC has issued the report on the first phase of its probe into the circumstances surrounding the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The fire on 14 June 2017 claimed the lives of 72 people. The report consists of four volumes and comprises more than 1,000 pages of detailed testimony, analysis, and findings.
